Ms. Danielle Carlson is the instrumental instructor for Allegro Charter School of Music.
A native of Ridgway Pennsylvania, Danielle attended Ridgway Elementary, Middle, and High School where music became her passion. During her grade-school years, Ms. Carlson was active with local high schools and local music venues both performing in, and serving as music director for numerous musicals and music performances.
After graduating RHS in 2011, Danielle attended Mercyhurst University in Erie Pennsylvania studying Music Education with a concentration in percussion under the instruction of Mr. Bradley Amidon. While in Erie, she remained active in the local music scene that includes working with All an Act Theatre, The Erie Philharmonic, The Riverside: The Inn at Cambridge Springs, Dramashop, The Erie Playhouse, various area middle/high schools/universities, and churches.
Immediately after graduating with a Bachelor's in Music Education, Danielle moved to Charleston SC to begin her first year of teaching at Allegro Charter School of Music. The 2019-2020 school year will mark her fifth year of teaching percussion and band classes at Allegro. In her spare time she teaches private music lessons, and is also involved with the Charleston theatre scene, music directing, and performing in shows. Since moving to South Carolina, she has continued to work as the percussion instructor for the Hartsville High School Red Regime Marching Band in Hartsville, SC.
